    Use & Care

    Use

    • Use with straight-edged knives only; not for use with serrated blades.
    • Steel length should measure at least as long as knife being honed.
    • Use grooved side weekly and smooth side daily.

    Care

    • If metal filings accumulate on steel, remove them with damp cloth.
    • Periodically rub food-safe mineral oil onto handle to prevent wood from becoming brittle or cracking. Wipe off excess with clean cloth.
