    Use & Care

    RECEIVING INSTRUCTIONS

    • Mix ships fresh at ambient temperature.
    • Upon receipt, store unopened at room temperature for up to 18 months.

    PREPARATION INSTRUCTIONS

    Ingredients

    • Cornbread mix (included)
    • 1 1/4 cups milk
    • 6 Tbs. unsalted butter, melted and slightly cooled (plus more as needed)
    • 1/4 cup canola oil
    • 1 egg
    • Softened salted butter, for serving
    • Honey, for serving

    Directions

    Preferred method (skillet)

    • Place 8" skillet on middle rack of oven and preheat to 375°F.
    • In medium bowl, whisk together milk, melted butter, oil and egg until smooth. Add cornbread mix and stir until just combined.
    • Remove hot skillet from oven and add 1 Tbs. of butter, swirling it around and up sides of pan.
    • Immediately pour cornbread batter in skillet and return to oven.
    • Bake until cornbread is golden brown on top and toothpick inserted in center comes out clean, approx. 20–22 minutes. Transfer to wire rack to cool slightly.
    • Serve warm or at room temperature, with butter and honey, if desired.

    Alternative method (baking pan)

    • Make batter as directed above.
    • Bake in greased 8" sq. pan for 25–30 minutes. Transfer to wire rack to cool slightly.
