Use & Care
Use
- Designed for use with plain drinking water.
- Fill bottle with cold water to marked line (800ml max.) for optimal fizz.
- Attach bottle securely by twisting it into machine until fully tightened.
- Turn front knob clockwise to release CO₂; twist more for stronger carbonation.
- Stop when you hear a hiss (overpressure valve sound), then twist counter-clockwise.
- Unscrew bottle gently once carbonation is complete.
- Add syrups, flavoring, fruit and ice after carbonating – not before.
- Uses screw-in 14.5-oz. (60L) CO₂ canister (not included).
- Insert or replace cylinder from bottom by laying appliance on its side.
- Do not remove or insert cylinder while appliance is running.
- Keep spare CO₂ cylinders away from heat sources and out of direct sunlight.
- Do not use with non-SMEG bottles or incompatible CO₂ cylinders.
- Always use appliance facing upright on flat surface.
Care
- Hand-wash Tritan™ Renew bottle before and after using. Use soft brush if needed.
- Wipe exterior clean with damp cloth. Dry with soft cloth.
- Do not immerse unit in water or clean in dishwasher.
- Store bottle without cap on to avoid moisture buildup.
- Replace bottle every 24 months or if damaged.
