    Use & Care

    Use

    • Ideal for gas and electric cooktops (not induction-compatible).
    • Oven safe to 430°F.
    • To protect tin lining from damage, do not heat empty or at temperatures above 430°F.
    • Use wood, plastic or heat-resistant nylon tools to avoid scratching tin lining.
    • When pouring hot water from kettle, use free hand and potholder to secure lid.

    Care

    • Allow cookware to cool before cleaning.
    • Hand-wash.
    • Avoid using steel wool, steel scouring pads and harsh detergents.
    • Dry immediately with soft cloth.
    • Copper will develop rich patina over time. This will not affect performance.
    • To keep exterior looking new, use copper polish or combination of lemon and salt.
    • Tin lining protects food from reacting with copper but will become discolored over time. This is normal. Depending on frequency of use and type of food cooked, lining may eventually need to be replaced. To prolong lining's usefulness, avoid cooking acidic ingredients in tin-lined cookware.
