    Receiving Instructions

    • Store unopened at room temperature for up to 18 months. Once opened, store in refrigerator and enjoy within 7 days.

    Preparation Instructions

    • In large saucepan over medium-high heat, brown 1 lb. (500g) ground beef (preferably chili grind) or 1 lb. (500g) cubed beef for 7 to 10 minutes. Drain off fat.
    • Add 1 jar Chili Starter and 1 cup (250ml) water and stir to combine. Bring to boil, reduce the heat to low and simmer for 1 hour for ground beef; for cubed beef, simmer until tender, 2 to 3 hours.
    • Serve chili with grated cheese, diced yellow or green onion, sour cream and tortilla chips.
    • If desired, add 1 can (15 oz./470g) black beans, drained and rinsed, during last 30 minutes of cooking. For spicier version, add minced jalapeno along with Chili Starter.
    • Serves 6.
