Receiving Instructions
- Store unopened at room temperature for up to 18 months. See best before date on packaging.
Preparation Instructions
- 1 package gelato starter (included)
- 1 1/2 cups half-and-half
- 1 1/2 cups heavy cream
Prepare ice cream maker according to manufacturer's instructions.
In large bowl, whisk together half-and-half and heavy cream until combined. Add gelato starter and whisk until completely dissolved, approx. 3–5 minutes.
Transfer mixture to ice cream maker and churn according to manufacturer's instructions.
Transfer gelato to freezer-safe container. Cover and freeze until firm, at least 1 1/2 hours for creamy, traditional-style gelato or up to 3 days for firm, traditional-style ice cream.
