    Receiving Instructions

    • Store unopened at room temperature for up to 18 months. Once opened, store in refrigerator and enjoy within 5 days.

    Preparation Instructions

    • In large saucepan, combine 1 jar soup starter with 1 cup (250ml) beef stock, or more as desired. Bring to simmer over medium-high heat, stirring occasionally, until heated through.
    • Ladle into bowls and serve immediately.
    • For a heartier meal, add warmed soup to oven-safe bowls and top with toasted bread and Gruyère or your favorite cheese. Preheat broiler. Place bowls on rimmed baking sheet and slide under broiler about 6 inches (15 cm) from heat source. Broil 2–4 minutes, or until cheese is melted and bubbly. Garnish with chives and a few grinds of freshly cracked pepper, if desired.
