Detail
Summary
Crafted of solid beech wood using traditional joinery techniques, this chair boasts an heirloom quality to match its enduring style. Tapered spindles and splayed legs braced by stretchers give it a classic look, while the steam-bent seat strikes a modern note and lends it long-lasting comfort. It's made by the artisans of TON in a factory founded in the mid-1800s to produce the revolutionary designs of inventor and cabinet maker Michael Thonet. True to their European roots, these bistro chairs are slightly smaller in proportion to modern dining chairs.
