Detail
Summary
The elaborate cloud formations of our hand-knotted rug recall 15th-century Tibetan motifs – once common to silk textiles and paintings. Abstract geometric accents in soft, neutral shades fill the billowy clouds with tonal detail. This extraordinary rug has a soft pile and makes a gracious addition to a range of living spaces.
- Hand knotted from yarn-dyed wool for softness and enduring color.
- Sheared to a dense, medium pile (30 knots per sq. inch).
- Hand-knotted fringe on two ends.
- We recommend our Heavyweight Rug Pad with this style; our latex-backed pad (sold separately) can be trimmed to fit exact rug dimensions.
- Due to the handmade nature of our rugs, all sizes and colors may vary.
- Imported.

Use & Care
Care
- Vacuum regularly to prevent dust and crumbs from settling into the roots of the fibers.
- Shedding of loose fibers is normal and will diminish with regular vacuuming. For commercial applications: vacuum a minimum of twice per day for at least the first six months to extend the life of the rug.
- Avoid direct and continuous exposure to sunlight.
- Use rug protectors under legs of heavy furniture to avoid flattening piles.
- Do not pull loose ends. Clip them with scissors.
- Rotate carpet occasionally to equalize wear.
- Remove spills immediately; if liquid, blot with clean, undyed cloth by pressing firmly around the spill to absorb as much as possible.
- For hard-to-remove stains, professional rug cleaning is recommended.
- Store rug by rolling it front side out and wrapping it in cloth for protection. Do not fold it or put in an airtight plastic bag. Place it in a dry, well-ventilated area.
