    Use & Care

    Cookware

    Use

    • Ideal for use on all cooktops, including induction.
    • Use low to medium heat for best performance. High heat is rarely needed.
    • Oven and broiler safe to 600°F (lids are safe to 425°F).
    • Safe for use with metal utensils. However, we recommend using silicone or wood utensils to maintain appearance over time.
    • To prolong pan life, use clarified butter or high-smoke-point oils (safflower oil, corn oil or refined olive oil). Do not allow oil to smoke or burn.
    • Do not use aerosol cooking sprays or extra-virgin olive oil, which may cause carbonized buildup.
    • Do not use on grill or in air fryer, microwave or freezer.

    Care

    • Allow cookware to cool before cleaning.
    • Dishwasher safe. However, we recommend hand-washing to preserve nonstick surface.
    • Lids are dishwasher safe.
    • Avoid using steel wool, abrasive scouring pads and harsh detergents.
    • To remove stubborn residue, use nylon scrubber and mild powdered cleanser.
    • Nonstick cookware is naturally subject to wear and tear. We recommend replacing pans as needed, or approx. every 5 years.

    Electric Skillet

    Use

    • Browning/Sautéing: For best results, use small amount of oil or butter suited for frying. Avoid low-smoke-point oil or aerosol sprays that do not withstand high heat.
    • When oil is simmering hot, add ingredients to be browned/sautéed. Sear for a few minutes on all sides.
    • Caution: skillet will become very hot during Brown/Sauté mode. Use heat-resistant gloves or oven mitts to handle. Keep hands and face away from surface, as hot oil may splatter. Small amounts of smoke may be generated by browning process. If excessive smoke or splatter occurs, turn off skillet and unplug it. Do not pour water or other liquids on skillet during Brown/Sauté mode.
    • Steam: Add 1/2" of water to skillet before adding ingredients.
    • Do not touch hot surfaces. Metal housing will become hot during use.
    • To reduce risk of electric shock, cook only in removable inner pan.
    • Use tongs or other heat safe utensils to remove food. Do not pour or lift appliance.
    • Avoid using attachments not recommended by manufacturer, which may cause injuries.
    • If children are present during cooking, supervise closely them and do not leave them unattended with hot skillet.

    Care

    • Unplug skillet and allow it to cool before cleaning.
    • Inner pot and lid are dishwasher safe.
    • Wipe exterior clean with damp sponge or cloth.
    • Avoid using scouring pads, powders and chemical detergents.
    • To protect against electrical shock, do not immerse cord, plug or body in water or other liquid.
    • Do not use if cord is damaged, or if skillet malfunctions or is damaged in any manner. Return skillet to nearest authorized service facility for examination, repair or adjustment.
