Use & Care
Use
- Caution: Hot surfaces. Never touch cooking surface or cover while appliance is in use. Always use handle to lift and lower cover.
- Do not use metal utensils as they may damage nonstick cooking surface. Use heat-resistant nylon, wood or silicone utensils.
Care
- Before cleaning, unplug appliance and allow it to cool completely.
- Drip tray is dishwasher safe.
- Wipe down cooking surface and cover with damp cloth, dry thoroughly before storing.
- Do not use abrasive cleaning agents to clean appliance as they may damage exterior and nonstick cooking surface.
- If food is burned onto cooking surface, apply small amount of cooking oil and let sit for 5–10 minutes. Scrub cooking surface with sponge or soft-bristled brush to dislodge food. Use damp, soapy cloth to wipe down cooking surface. Rinse cloth thoroughly and wipe down again. If any food remains, apply more cooking oil and let sit for a few hours, then scrub and wipe clean.
