Use & Care
Use
- Compatible with Ooni Medium Modular Table and Ooni Large Modular Table (sold separately).
- Cook only dry, bread-based dishes directly on stone. Meat, vegetables and other wet dishes should be cooked using Ooni Cast Iron or other pans that withstand high temperatures.
- Do not use water to extinguish oven fire as this can cause damage and personal injury.
- Turn off oven, then turn off gas supply before disconnecting regulator from tank.
- Allow oven to cool completely before moving or storing.
Care
- Allow oven to cool completely before cleaning. This can take up to 60 minutes, depending on ambient temperature. Do not use water to cool oven as this can cause damage and injury.
- To clean interior: Run oven at highest temperature for 30 minutes to burn off excess food. Once cool, wipe down with paper towels.
- To clean exterior: Once cool, wipe down with soft cloth and warm, soapy water. Dry immediately. Avoid using abrasive cleaning products and harsh chemicals.
- To clean stainless-steel parts: Use Bar Keepers Friend Power Cream and rough side of sponge.
- To clean stone: Allow oven to cool completely, then flip stone over. The oven's high temperatures will clean underside of stone during the next cook. Alternatively, clean with pizza oven brush or wire brush. Do not clean in dishwasher. Do not clean with water or dishwashing liquid.
- To clean glass visor: Once cool, remove soot with paper towel or dry cloth. For more thorough cleaning, use soft cloth and warm, soapy water.
- Store oven indoors, especially during inclement weather and near saltwater environments.
- If oven is stored outdoors, protect with Ooni Koda 2 Pro Pizza Oven Cover (sold separately).
