Revealing patterns within patterns and stripes within stripes, Tambour was developed through an iterative process of combining multiple weaves into one harmonious design. It explores novel ways to display vibrant color, balancing the horizontal and the vertical to create a versatile visual rhythm. Woven floor mats are made from Chilewich's durable signature woven textile bonded with a flexible commercial grade backing. The latex backing provides a protective, water-resistant base layer, enhanced slip resistance and durability, and increased comfort underfoot.
