Detail
Summary
Inspired by classic Heriz carpets of 19th-century Persia, our wool rug's hand-knotted design features three bold medallions framed by graceful, intertwining vines and a wide, floral geometric border. Overdying gives depth and nuance to the palette of green, turquoise, brown and beige, while lending this rug the unique character of an antique.
- Hand knotted from yarn-dyed wool for plush texture and enduring color.
- Sheared to a dense, medium pile (15 knots per sq. inch).
- Fringeless.
- We recommend our Heavyweight Rug Pad with this style; our latex-backed pad (sold separately) can be trimmed to fit exact rug dimensions.
- By choosing our cotton products, you’re supporting our investment in Better Cotton’s mission. This product is sourced via mass balance and therefore may not contain Better Cotton.
- Due to the handmade nature of our rugs, all sizes and colors may vary.

Use & Care
Use
- Indoor use only.
- Rug pad recommended.
Care
- Vacuum regularly to prevent dust and crumbs from settling into roots of the fibers.
- Shedding of loose fibers is normal and will diminish with regular vacuuming. For commercial applications: vacuum a minimum of twice per day for at least the first six months to extend the life of the rug.
- Avoid direct and continuous exposure to sunlight.
- Do not pull loose ends. Clip them with scissors.
- Turn carpet around occasionally to equalize wear.
- Remove spills immediately; if liquid, blot with clean, undyed cloth by pressing firmly around the spill to absorb as much as possible.
- For hard-to-remove stains, professional rug cleaning is recommended.
- Store your rug by rolling it front side out and wrapping in cloth for protection. Do not fold or put in an airtight plastic bag. Place in a dry, well-ventilated area.
