    • Rich, buttery stollen has been a German holiday tradition for over 500 years. The Dresden bakery that produces ours has been perfecting its recipe since 1825. Each sweet yeast loaf is made by hand and packed with plump rum-soaked raisins and dried fruits, with a rich layer of marzipan at the center. After shaping and baking, the loaf is dipped in melted butter and vanilla sugar, then finished with a sprinkling of confectioners' sugar. Gift-packaged in a decorative keepsake tin, stollen makes the perfect treat for breakfast, brunch or afternoon tea.

    Use & Care

    RECEIVING INSTRUCTIONS

    • Store in cool, dry place for up to 6 weeks.

    PREPARATION INSTRUCTIONS

    • Oven: Preheat oven to 400°F. Wrap stollen (whole loaf or portion) in aluminum foil and bake until just warmed through, approx. 7–15 minutes depending on size. Remove from oven and unwrap foil, dust stollen with powdered sugar, slice and serve.
    • Toaster Oven: Preheat toaster oven to 350°F. To heat slice of stollen, use serrated knife to cut bread into 1/2"-thick slices. Place in toaster oven and cook until just warmed through and slightly browned. Dust with powdered sugar, slice and serve.
    • Microwave: To heat slice of stollen, use serrated knife to cut bread into 1/2"-thick slices. Place in microwave and cook until just warmed through, approx. 10 seconds. To heat larger piece or whole loaf, heat at 15-second intervals until just warmed through. Dust with powdered sugar, slice if needed and serve.
