Green coffee beans are rinsed under high pressure with liquid CO₂ at ambient temperature to release the caffeine, then the CO₂ is boiled away, removing the caffeine.

• Remove aluminum covering from capsule, compost or discard used coffee grounds, rinse capsules and place in your recycling bin.
• Alternatively, we've teamed up with TerraCycle to bring you a quick, easy option for recycling our coffee capsules. Simply place used capsules in a resealable plastic bag and drop them off at your local Williams Sonoma store.
