As rich and decadent as truffles, the sci-fi sweets start with spheres of moist, maple-flavored cake and buttercream frosting. Each pop is then dipped in dark chocolate, dusted with nonpareil sprinkles and decorated with tinted white-chocolate waffles. Made fresh by a specialty bakery in Los Angeles, the hand-decorated treats make a great gift for "Stranger Things" fans and a fun addition to watch parties and Halloween festivities.

Ingredients

• Maple Cake Pops: Enriched flour bleached (wheat flour, niacin, iron, thiamine mononitrate, riboflavin, folic acid), sugar, corn syrup, baking soda, cornstarch, palm oil, soybean and/or canola oil, whole eggs, xanthan gum, Red #40, natural maple flavoring by Amoretti.
• Vanilla Buttercream: Confectioners' sugar, palm, egg whites, cream of tartar, natural and artificial flavors.
• White Chocolate: Sugar, palm oil, dry whole milk, soy lecithin (emulsifier), natural vanilla flavor, Yellow #5 and Yellow #6.
• Dark Chocolate: Unsweetened chocolate, sugar, cocoa butter, cocoa, soy lecithin (emulsifier), natural vanilla flavor.
