• Mix ships fresh at ambient temperature.
• Upon receipt, store unopened at room temperature for up to 18 months.

PREPARATION INSTRUCTIONS

Ingredients

• 1 packet muffin mix (included)
• 1 packet streusel topping mix (included)
• 8 Tbs. unsalted butter, room temperature
• 1/3 cup sour cream or yogurt
• 2 eggs
• 1/3 cup water

Directions

• Preheat oven to 350°F.
• Line 12-well muffin pan with paper liners.
• Cream 6 Tbs. butter in bowl of mixer (stand or hand) with approx. 1/2 cup of muffin mix. Blend on medium-low speed until light and fluffy. Add eggs and sour cream, then remaining mix and water. Mix on medium speed briefly just until combined.
• Do not overmix. Scrape down bowl and whisk out any lumps or dry mix by hand.
• In separate bowl, melt remaining 2 Tbs. butter. Add streusel mix and blend with fork until mixture is moistened and crumbly.
• Spoon 1/2 of batter into prepared pan (approx. 1" deep). Sprinkle with 1/2 of streusel mixture. Carefully spread remaining batter over streusel. Top with remaining streusel.
• Bake for 20–22 minutes, until toothpick inserted in center of muffin comes out clean. Cool on rack for 15 minutes, then remove from pan.
