- It's easy to make delicious cornbread with our signature mix. Crafted of premium ingredients measured in the perfect proportions, it turns out golden, tender and slightly sweet cornbread. Prep is simple – just add a few fresh ingredients and bake in a skillet or square pan. Serve the traditional treat with stew, chili or roasted meat, accompanied by butter, pepper jelly or honey.

Use & Care
RECEIVING INSTRUCTIONS
- Mix ships fresh at ambient temperature.
- Upon receipt, store unopened at room temperature for up to 18 months.
PREPARATION INSTRUCTIONS
Ingredients
- Cornbread mix (included)
- 1 1/4 cups milk
- 6 Tbs. unsalted butter, melted and slightly cooled (plus more as needed)
- 1/4 cup canola oil
- 1 egg
- Softened salted butter, for serving
- Honey, for serving
Directions
Preferred method (skillet)
- Place 8" skillet on middle rack of oven and preheat to 375°F.
- In medium bowl, whisk together milk, melted butter, oil and egg until smooth. Add cornbread mix and stir until just combined.
- Remove hot skillet from oven and add 1 Tbs. of butter, swirling it around and up sides of pan.
- Immediately pour cornbread batter in skillet and return to oven.
- Bake until cornbread is golden brown on top and toothpick inserted in center comes out clean, approx. 20–22 minutes. Transfer to wire rack to cool slightly.
- Serve warm or at room temperature, with butter and honey, if desired.
Alternative method (baking pan)
- Make batter as directed above.
- Bake in greased 8" sq. pan for 25–30 minutes. Transfer to wire rack to cool slightly.
