Use

• Before first use, hand-wash cooking surface and drip tray with hot, soapy water. Dry thoroughly. Lightly season cooking surface with canola oil or vegetable oil.
• Always preheat griddle before cooking and add food only after preheat light goes off. Preheat light will turn off once set temperature is reached.
• Use only wooden or plastic utensils rated for high heat (up to 450°F) to prevent damage to nonstick surface.
• Empty drip tray after each use.
• When finished cooking, turn dial to off, unplug griddle and allow it to cool completely before moving or cleaning.

• Avoid using abrasive cleaners and metal pads.
• Clean grease drain by pouring warm soapy water around area. Use soft brush or sponge to clear debris, then rinse.

• Clean exterior with nonabrasive cleaner and microfiber cloth. Polish in direction of grain.
• Wipe temperature dial clean with damp, soapy cloth. Dry thoroughly.
• Do not immerse base, cord or plug in water or other liquid.
