    Use & Care

    Use

    • Caution: Unit gets very hot. Never touch cooking surface or cover while appliance is in use. Always use handle to lift and lower cover.
    • Do not use metal utensils as they may damage nonstick cooking surface. Use heat-resistant nylon, wood or silicone utensils.

    Care

    • Unplug and allow to cool completely before cleaning.
    • Wipe cooking surface and cover clean with damp, soapy cloth. Rinse cloth thoroughly and wipe down again.
    • Avoid using abrasive cleaning agents as they may damage exterior and nonstick cooking surface.
    • To remove baked-on residue, apply small amount of cooking oil and let sit for 5–10 minutes. Scrub with sponge or soft-bristled brush to dislodge residue. Use damp, soapy cloth to wipe clean. Rinse cloth thoroughly and wipe down again. If any residue remains, apply more cooking oil and let sit for a few hours, then scrub again and wipe clean.
    • Dry thoroughly before storing.
    • Store in cool, dry location.
