Use & Care
Care
- Exterior should be cleaned regularly with mild detergent solution, warm water and soft cloth. To avoid scratching unit surface, do not use abrasive cloth.
- Ice maker is equipped with a self-clean program that ensures your ice is clean and fresh by removing scale and impurities.
- Unplug unit, and remove ice basket. Create 1-part vinegar to 10-parts water solution, and pour into water reservoir. Plug in unit, then press and hold Clean button for 3 seconds. Unit will automatically enter self-clean program, which will take approx. 5–6 minutes. During this process, a rotating fan blade icon will be displayed in LCD window. This process will rinse internal parts several times.
- After self-clean program is completed, drain out water by unplugging rubber drain plug on side. Reinstall rubber drain plug once water reservoir is empty.
- Unplug unit, add fresh water into water reservoir up to water level mark and run self-clean program again. Once program completes, drain out water, dry interior and exterior with soft and clean cloth and reinstall rubber drain plug.
- Note: When using unit for the first time, or if it has not been used for a long time, we suggest running the above program.
- Hand-wash ice scoop.
