Use & Care
Care
- To clean jugs, rinse ingredients off as soon as possible, then hand-wash in warm water. Use a few drops of dish soap for thick or sticky ingredients.
- To self-clean, partially fill blending jug with warm water and a drop of dish soap, place on base and set blender to Clean.
- Oils in citrus rinds can damage blender jug if left inside for too long. Always clean jug immediately after processing citrus rinds.
- To sanitize, mix solution of 1 1⁄2 tsp. (7.5ml) of household bleach and 2 quarts (2L) of clean, cool water (follow recommended instructions on bleach container). After performing auto-clean cycle per instructions above, add half the sanitizing solution (1 quart/1L) to each jug. Secure lid and inner lid of first jug, place on base and set blender to Clean. Allow solution to stand in jug for 1 minute, then empty. Repeat with second jug.
- Wipe base clean with damp cloth.
