    Use & Care

    Use

    • Season with food-grade mineral oil before first use. Apply oil in direction of wood grain using clean, dry cloth. Allow oil to be absorbed for at least 6 hours. For best results, allow oil to be absorbed overnight. Wipe off excess oil using clean, dry cloth.
    • Avoid contact with cooking oil such as olive oil and canola oil.

    Care

    • Hand-wash with hot, soapy water.
    • Dry thoroughly.
    • Do not soak or submerge board in water.
    • Store in dry area away from extreme temperatures.
    • Apply food-safe mineral oil twice per month to prevent wood from drying out. Apply oil in direction of wood grain using clean, dry cloth. Allow oil to be absorbed for at least 6 hours. For best results, allow oil to be absorbed overnight. Wipe off excess oil using clean, dry cloth.
