Use & Care

Use

• Season with food-grade mineral oil before first use. Apply oil in direction of wood grain using clean, dry cloth. Allow oil to be absorbed for at least 6 hours. For best results, allow oil to be absorbed overnight. Wipe off any excess using clean, dry cloth.

Care

• Hand-wash with hot, soapy water.
• Dry thoroughly.
• Do not soak or submerge board in water.
• Apply food-safe mineral oil twice per month to prevent wood from drying out. Apply oil in direction of wood grain using clean, dry cloth. Allow oil to be absorbed for at least 6 hours. For best results, allow oil to be absorbed overnight. Wipe off any excess using clean, dry cloth.
• Avoid contact with cooking oil such as olive oil and canola oil.
• Store in dry area away from extreme temperatures.
