Use & Care
Use
- Ideal for use on all cooktops, including induction.
- Pans are heat-resistant to 500°F (lid is heat-resistant to 425°F).
- Safe for use with metal utensils.
- For best results, use low to medium heat on cooktop.
- Allow pan to heat gradually and evenly.
- When searing meat, poultry or fish, use medium high heat initially, then lower heat once pan is hot and food is added.
- Do not use highest heat setting for preheating or cooking. Excessive surface temperatures will damage nonstick cooking surface.
- Use burner similar to size of pan base. Confine gas flames to base – do not allow flames to extend up walls of pan.
- Do not slide pan on stovetop.
- Lift pan to move on glass-topped stoves.
- Do not leave pan unattended or allow dry nonstick surface to overheat.
Care
- Allow cookware to cool before cleaning.
- Dishwasher safe, but we recommend hand-washing for best results. Use hot, soapy water and nonstick cleaning pad. Rinse and dry thoroughly.
- Dishwasher cleaning may result in darkening of pan and/or powdery white deposits. This is normal and will not affect performance. To remove white deposits, use nylon pad and detergent. Rinse and dry thoroughly.
- After dishwasher cleaning, recondition cooking surface with vegetable oil or corn oil.
- Do not plunge hot pan into cold water.
- Avoid using metal pads and abrasive cleaners.
