Detail
Summary
America's oldest family-owned cookware foundry, Lodge has been making cast iron pots and pans since 1896. In 2011, the company debuted its seasoned carbon-steel line – lightweight cookware that's rugged enough to use over a campfire with all the benefits of traditional cast iron skillets. More responsive to cooking temperature changes than cast iron, carbon steel ensures fast heating. This preseasoned griddle has a naturally stick-resistant cooking surface that's ideal for sautéing, browning, frying and searing.
- Heavy-gauge carbon steel heats up rapidly and responds quickly to changes in cooking temperature.
- Preseasoned griddle has naturally stick-resistant cooking surface.
- Ideal for use on indoor and outdoor cooktops, but not induction compatible.
