Use & Care

Use

Installing batteries:

• Detach motor unit from reservoir. Remove motor by pressing clips inward using a pointed object (e.g., pencil). Place 6 mercury-free alkaline AAA batteries into compartment.
• Be careful to position batteries correctly by checking polarity of terminals and batteries. Reposition motor unit.

Filling mills:

• Spice vial features special funnel for easy refilling of mill. Push down on cap in center to open funnel before first use.
• Remove motor unit and fill reservoir.
• Each mill is spice specific, so only refill peppermill with peppercorns and salt mill with salt crystals.
• All spices should be 5mm diam. or less.

Care

• Do not expose to water or humidity. If mills are exposed to humidity, empty and dry completely before refilling with appropriate spice.
