    Summary

An embossed dragon encircles the lid of our Staub braiser, giving it a celebratory east-meets-west aesthetic, ideal for oven-to-table presentation. Its innovative enamel finish takes cast-iron cooking to the next level with improved performance, style and durability, and never needs seasoning. The domed Chistera lid features self-basting spikes that collect and return moisture, so food turns out tender and juicy. The interior's rounded sides facilitate stirring and prevent sticking, and the wide handles ensure a secure grip, even with oven mitts. Use this heavy-duty braiser to make everything from stews to casseroles to roasted chicken.

    • Perfect for celebrating Year of the Dragon.
    • Heavyweight enameled cast iron transfers and retains heat evenly.
    • Specially formulated black matte interior enamel contains traces of quartz, giving it additional heat-retention and rougher surface for superior browning.
    • Interior resists rust, chips and cracks and does not require seasoning.
    • Integrated handles make it easy to carry – even with oven mitts.
    • Domed Chistera lid with brass knob promotes continual self-basting for tender, flavorful results.
    • Glossy multicoat enameling replicates majolica finish of fine ceramics.
    • Ideal for use on all cooktops, including induction.
