Use & Care
Use
- Before each use, hand-wash pan with hot, soapy water.
- Oven safe to 375°F.
- Use wood, silicone, plastic or other nonmetal utensils to avoid scratching surface.
- For best results, lightly spray each well with flour-based nonstick spray. This will help ensure easy release and superior pattern definition.
- When pouring batter, begin with small amount, making sure liquid fills in all pan details.
- To prevent overflow, do not fill more than 2/3 full.
- Gently tap pan on counter several times to release excess air bubbles from batter.
- After baking, cool on wire rack for 10 minutes.
- To unmold, tap pan firmly a few times. Invert onto cooling rack and remove pan.
- Allow cakelets to cool completely before decorating.
Care
- Hand-wash.
- Avoid using abrasive cleaners such as metal scouring pads, as they can damage surface.
- To remove baked-on food particles, scrub lightly with soft sponge or kitchen brush.
- Dry thoroughly.
